SCRATCH is a programming language and an online community where people can code and share interactive media such as stories, games, and animation with other people from all over the world. As our students create with SCRATCH, they learn to think creatively, work collaboratively, and reason systematically. SCRATCH is designed and maintained by the Lifelong Kindergarten group at the MIT Media Lab. VisionTechAlliance has embraced SCRATCH to break the ice for younger students that are learning to program computers for the first time. It is an exceptional application which teaches the basic constructs of a programming language.
